Hampton Township School District Mission Statement: Hampton Township School District works collaboratively with the community in support of every child becoming creative and innovative problem-solvers and communicators. The District maintains high expectations by furthering our tradition of excellence as our students develop the knowledge, character and integrity to impact the world.
Hampton Township School District covers Hampton Township, Western Pennsylvania, USA. There are five schools educating around 3,100 students in grades K-12. The district graduated its first class in 1943. In 2006 it was ranked third in the Pittsburgh Business Times Honor Roll ranking of top districts, out of over 100 districts. The school district states that “three of the five schools have earned National Blue Ribbon status in recent years. Hampton has also been recognized twice by The PA Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education, for implementing best practices for inclusive education in the regular education classroom.”
